The Division I NAAC Top 10 Poll is compiled by calculating the number of NAAC members from each institution within each conference by the number of full time compliance professionals from each institution within each conference. For example, if Conference X has 40 full time compliance members of which 20 are NAAC members, their calculation would be 20/40 = 50%. |

Dear Division I NAAC Members: One of NAAC's goals is to create universal compliance standards to guide athletics departments and compliance professionals in their efforts to properly monitor compliance with the NCAA rules as well as establish and maintain institutional control. Your feedback via a prior survey helped NAAC's Committee on Reasonable Standards establish a starting point for developing these standards. We have drafted a few potential standards (relative to complimentary admissions, recruiting evaluations and contacts, and countable athletically-related activities) and now want to make sure that they reflect tasks that are reasonable based on current practices. Thus, it is important that we gather your feedback regarding how you are monitoring the selected areas as we prepare to solidify the details of each of the currently drafted standards. |
