Institution Josh Snyder was promoted to Associate Athletics Director for Compliance at Iowa State University in April 2006. This is Snyder's second ISU promotion after being hired as Director of Compliance in 2003. Snyder remains responsible for coordinating, implementing and evaluating all facets of Iowa State's athletics compliance program, including the education, monitoring and investigation components. Snyder graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences in 1995. He continued his education, earning his Juris Doctorate from the Creighton University School of Law in 2001. Snyder has been admitted to practice before all Nebraska State and Federal Courts. He earned "First in Class" designations for both Legal Interviewing & Negotiations and Contracts while serving on the Domestic Moot Court Board and Creighton Law Review Editorial Staff. Snyder arrived in Ames from the University of South Dakota, where he served as Associate Athletics Director since 2001. He worked as a compliance assistant at Nebraska-Omaha from 2000-01. Snyder served as Director of Sales and Operations for Monster Productions following a stint as Director of Game Operations and Marketing for the former Omaha Racers professional basketball club of the CBA. While working for the Racers, he directed the production of the 1997 CBA All-Star Game and Fan Jam. Snyder also served as Director of Group Sales & Promotions for the Sioux City Explorers baseball club for two seasons. |
