NAAC Selects Inaugural Convention Stipend Recipients |

CLEVELAND – The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) has selected the 10 recipients of the inaugural NAAC Convention Stipend to attend the 2011 Convention in Orlando, Fla., Wednesday-Thursday, June 15-16.
Grant recipients receive a monetary award to help cover expenses associated with registration and travel to the Convention.

CLEVELAND - The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) has announced that it will begin accepting applications for its Inaugural Convention Scholarships for the June Convention.
SCHOLARSHIP NOMINATION FORM
NAAC is offering up to 10 scholarships to attend its Annual Convention, available to first time Convention attendees. Convention registration for the scholarship recipients will be waived and the winners will be allocated up to $500 each to assist in covering travel expenses (e.g., hotel, meals and flight/mileage) for the Convention. Deadline to submit applications is March 31.

Julie Roe Lach Named Association’s Keynote Speaker |

CLEVELAND – The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) has announced that it will welcome NCAA Vice President of Enforcement Julie Roe Lach, as its Keynote Speaker during its Annual Convention in June. Lach will address the NAAC attendees during the Association’s opening session on Wednesday, June 15 from 1-2 p.m.

The NCAA AMA Online Case Management System will be launched February 28! |

NCAA AMA Online Case Management is a centralized case processing system for institutions to submit and manage waiver and reinstatement cases, communications and decisions. All waiver and student-athlete reinstatement requests submitted February 28 and thereafter must be submitted via the AMA Online Case Management System. Any waiver or reinstatement case that is submitted prior to February 28 will continue to be processed via the previous method. Guidelines, policies and procedures for each case type and other helpful documents are located on the Resources tab within the AMA Online Case Management System.
AMA Online Case Management, the new waiver and student-athlete reinstatement processing system, is available behind the Single-Source Sign-On System. Single-Source Administrators may add access to the application prior to its launch. Administrators should expand the application once it has been assigned to be sure individual roles and privileges are selected to provide the user appropriate access levels. The function for “Request a case” will be defaulted to “Yes” if the application is assigned to a user. If there is a user that should be able to view information in AMA Online, but should not be able to initiate a case, the access level should be changed to “No.” There is a user guide and tutorial video available to assist users on the Help tab within the Single-Source Sign-On System.
